SENIORS, FCAHS has scheduled a FAFSA Day on October 18.  Trained college representatives will provide free, confidential, one-on-one assistance in applying for college financial aid.  To participate in the FAFSA Day, the student or parent MUST sign up for a 30-minute appointment. To sign up, please go by Melissa Graham’s room T7 in the Technical Building.

 

Students currently enrolled in a CTE program who are interested in joining the National Technical Honor Society, see Mrs. Graham in room T7 of the tech building.  Deadline for applications and dues is October 19.

 

The Aggie PRIDE Team is excited to announce plans for the 1st 9-weeks Aggie Celebration!  On October 19, all students who qualify will be treated to a Field Day Pizza Party! Will you be one of our PAWSitively Amazing Aggies?  Check out the FCAHS blog to find out how to qualify!

 

Golf team tryouts for girls and boys will be Tuesday, October 16th at Hattiesburg Country Club.  See Coach Gardner for details.

Students!  Do you love dancing and being in front of the camera? Then you need to be a part of the FCAHS School Spirit video.  Filming will take place on Wednesday, October 17 during 2nd, 3rd and 4th blocks. Teachers will select 2 students from each of their classes to participate.  You must wear school--approved shirts (maroon, gray, white, or black) with khaki or black bottoms. You must also be making good grades, be enthusiastic, brave, and good at taking directions. 

 

Fast Pitch tryouts  will be Nov. 6 and Nov. 8 you will need a physical and signed tryout waiver

Congrats to the Aggie Pride Band on their success this past weekend at the Groovin’ in the Grove Band Festival.  The FCAHS Band placed 3rd overall in their class. The Aggie Pride also won best in class visual and best in class color guard.

School day pictures will be taken October 11 during 1st block.  Students may wear dress code or better.  Senior remake pictures will be taken from 7:30-7:50 for any current Junior graduating in May.  All other Senior pictures will be taken during 2nd block.

  1.  The FCAHS Homecoming dance will be Saturday, September 29 from 8-11 at the school.  Tickets are $15 a person or $25 a couple. Tickets may be purchased from Ms. Ryals.  Tickets must be purchased by Thursday, September 27. No tickets will be sold at the door.

Teams must have their own uniforms.  Rosters must be turned into Mrs. Tutor by Monday at 12. You must list your players, coach and team names.  A player may NOT be on more than one team.

 

Thursday starting at 6 pm is the homecoming parade.  Line up starts at 4:45 at South Forrest.
