FCAHS Beta Club has earned the Grand Slam award for the 2024-2025 school year. Our club served a total of 21,359 hours this year with each member serving an average of 165.57.

FCAHS Beta Club was founded in 1949. There are currently 87 members. FCAHS Beta Club was recognized in 2022-2023 as a School of Distinction, School of Merit, and an All-Star School. These awards are based on the student population, club growth, and service hours. In the 2022-2023 school year Beta Club participated in various community service activities which include sponsoring a Color Run for the Hope Clinic of Forrest County, Trunk-or-Treat for the Brooklyn, MS community, distributing “Thankful Baskets” at Thanksgiving to families in our community, and a canned food drive for our local food pantry.

Our Beta club served a total of 6,293 hours this year with each member serving an average of 52.882. FCAHS is now an All Star Service Club for the 2022-2023 school year.
National Beta Leadership Summit
National Beta Leadership Summits bring together students from multiple states for 1-2 day events. During that time, students work with interactive speakers who engage members through introspective exercises and team-building activities. Clubs can also participate in team-based leadership challenges which test their communication, critical thinking, creativity, presentation, and collaboration skills. We sent 4 members this year and they qualified to compete at the National Convention in 2 categories this summer.
