Post date: Feb 22, 2018 7:57:51 PM
FCAHS welcomed Jermaine Jenkins--FCAHS alumnus, retired Marine, author, and professional fitness competitor--to the 2nd annual Black History Month program on February 21. Senior Britney Zeno organized the event along with the FCAHS Student Council. The FCAHS Select Women's Choir and the FCAHS Concert Choir performed during the program. Mr. Jenkins spoke about many influential black men and women who overcame adversity in order to reach their dreams. His key idea was "Do what you can to do what you love." Thank you, Mr. Jenkins, for giving back to your Mississippi community and paying it forward.
