Health Science Students Study Muscular System

The Health Science Core students at FCAHS have been studying the muscular system. By dissecting a chicken, they were able to identify tendons, ligaments, fascia, muscles, nerves, and blood vessels. The Healthcare and Clinical Services students got to practice surgical skills with the wings by preparing a sterile field, cleaning the wounds, and suturing the wings back together. Mrs. Grice's classes had lots of fun learning this topic.
