Students and School District Receive Special Honors

At the March 9 FCAHS School Board meeting, students Bryan Leggett and Madison Thornton were recognized for their recent achievements. Bryan was honored for outstanding student leadership in organizing the school's first Black History Month program. Madison was honored for her distinction as a National Merit Finalist. Additionally, the School Board accepted the Beacon Award from the Mississippi School Boards Association. The Beacon Award recognized our "A" district rating. Only 14 districts were recognized in the state with the Beacon Award from Mississippi School Boards Association.
